About Therapy
Do you feel that something is not right, but can't put your finger on what? Are you finding life harder to cope with than you used to?
Speaking with a therapist can help you explore your feelings, clarify what it is that you are experiencing, and take a stand on how to respond. I like to see myself as a respectful companion on the client's journey, providing a relationship they can use as they see fit.
Therapy needn't be a mysterious thing; it starts with a simple conversation. I believe that therapy can help people take responsibility for their own existence, and live their lives with courage, resilience and wholeheartedness.
I have experience working with issues including:
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Work- and study-related stress
-
Relationship problems
-
Family dynamics
-
Low self-esteem / impostor syndrome
-
Life changes: job loss, separation, bereavement
-
Ageing / mortality
-
Lack of meaning / purpose
-
Ethical quandaries
-
LGBTQ+ issues
-
The day-to-day challenges of being alive in 2025.
